On the 4th of October there was held the Meeting of the New Members of the Fund’s Board under guidance of Academician of NASU V.P.KUHAR. The opening address was taken by the Head of the State Committee of Ukraine on the questions of Science, Innovations and Informatization- Academician of NANU of Ukraine V.P. Seminozhenko who had expressed some hope that the newly chosen Fund’s Board would demonstrate some modern approaches to determine the priority directions of scientific researches It has been foreseen by the State to increase its competitiveness using clear instruments that should provide the modern development of innovations- the country’s main engine. And there should be supported not only ideas and developments of the scientists but to be given a business signal to involve good scientific projects to its realization. Besides there should be formed the most important scientific themes by the Fund’s Board to be submitted for consideration to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The main tasks of the SFFR for the nearest years have been formulated by the Head of the Fund -V.P. Kuhar (in details).
