In accordance with the Protocol about intends of German- Ukrainian academician collaboration between the German research foundation (DFG) and the State fund for fundamental researches (SFFR) on the basis of Agreement about supporting the joint research projects we are announcing continuing competition of the joint projects for fundamental researches on the following directions of knowledge:

(01) mathematics, mechanics, mechanics;
(02) physics and astronomy;
(03) chemistry;
(04) biology and medical science;
(05) sciences about Earth and problems of Environment;
(06) sciences about human-being and society ;
(07) scientific basis of perspective technologies.
Order of applications’ submission:

Application forms to participate in the competition are accepted during the year without any terms limitations for submission. Ukrainian and German Heads of the joint project before the submission agree the thematics of the research, name of the project, division of scientific tasks and also the plan of the works that will be carried out by the each side. The Organization that will be financed may be only that organization where the project will be carried out or the Organization as a place of the Head’s main work .

After agreement the German Head of the project sends his application form to the DFG ( in accordance with the forms and rules of the German side) after that there follows the corresponding expertise in the DFG. The German Head of the project gives information about results of his application form’s consideration to the Head of the project from the Ukrainian side sending him the facsimile copy of the Letter of the international department of DFG.

In the case of positive decision by DFG the Ukrainian Head of the project sends his application form to the SFFR that is written in accordance with the rules and requirements of the SFFR adding to the paper variant of application form the received copy of the project support letter from DFG.

The duration of the joint project -1 or 2 years and should coincide with the duration that is determined in the application form of the German Head of the projects.

The scientist –investigator should be the Head of only one submitted form. The Ukrainian participants of the joint projects can get the computer program for filling up the application form to take part in the competition just having visited the site of the SFFR or directly in the Fund .
